Hello Comedic Pursuits Community!
I’m writing to you all from voluntary self-isolation in my apartment in an attempt to do my part to flatten the curve of this fun little Pandemic we’re all experiencing.
I’ve noticed that quite a few of us, as groups or individually, have started posting fun content to keep comedy alive during this time of social isolation.
To do my part to help the comedy community keep connecting with each other—the whole reason I started this site in 2018!—I wanted to offer a hub where people can submit comedy content they’re creating or enjoying while we’re all cooped up inside.
Especially for creators and organizations who are experiencing difficulty with cash flow during this non-social time, I also wanted to provide a space where people can promote their content.
If you’re creating comedy during this time, please fill out the form below. We’ll put a link and description to your content in a blog post that we’ll update daily. We’ll also do our best to promote your content on CP social media platforms to get the word out there.
If you’ve found comedy content you’re enjoying without being able to go to a theater or bar to see a show, share it with all us here! This could include virtual shows, books you’re reading, a long-running indie web series you’re diving into—really anything you could provide a link to that you think other people might enjoy.
We’re all in this together, for better or worse. And we can all do our parts to make each other’s days a little bit brighter in these weird times.
I hope you find this resource helpful. And if you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to send me an email at kanderson@comedicpursuits.com
Love (like, for real tho),
Kelsie
