And now, some highlights from District Comedians this week: Improv Pop-Up’s last show sold out so I’m telling you up top to grab tickets while you can, Bad Medicine brings some sketch to your lives, and The Character Show is always cool.
Sunday, May 13
Lady improvisers, this month’s Bagelz and Jam is happening at Emergence Community Arts today at 12:30pm. Get out there and jam with some great performers.
WIT’s Interplay Road Show features Stranger Thoughts, Madeline, and a dance ensemble collaboration at DCAC at 7:30pm ($15).
The Maurice Brown Comedy Show is on at Drafthouse DC tonight at 7pm, featuring Sean Savoy, Allan Sidley, and Gabriel Brown ($25).
Brandon T. Jackson‘s last show at DC Improv is tonight at 7pm ($20)
Monday, May 14
Trustfall and Friends are at The Pinch with improv from Trustfall, Death Wipe, and Bottom Shelf and stand-up from Stephanie Kozikowski at 7:30pm.
Broken Mic hosts stand-up at Shenanigans at 8pm.
Tuesday, May 15
This week’s Harold Night features WIT ensembles Out Sick and After Pie at 8pm and Tiovivo and LIZARD GIRL at 9pm at Source.
Wednesday, May 16
You never know what you’re gonna get at Comedy Potluck, but you can find out tonight at Wonderland Ballroom at 8pm.
Broken Mic hosts its DMV comedy showcase at The G.O.A.T. at 8pm.
Thursday, May 17
This month’s Jokes That Give Back is hosted by Becca Lundberg and features comedy from Liz Miele, Jackie Gold, Nicki Fuchs, Algiers Diamond, and Chelsea Shorte at Drafthouse DC at 7pm. You can bring bras and menstrual hygiene products to benefit I Support the Girls ($10).
DC Improv hosts its Open Mic Night, featuring some local comics at 7:30pm.
WIT’s Interplay Road Show features Door #3, Madeline, and Hellcat (with artists from Super Art Fight) at DCAC at 7:30pm ($15).
H Street Comedy Night is a thing that happens every Thursday at Mythology at 8pm.
Franqi French hosts Broadway, a variety show with sketch, stand-up, and music at Drafthouse DC at 8:45pm ($5).
Friday, May 18
Greg Fitzsimmons is headlining this weekend at Drafthouse DC, with shows tonight and tomorrow at 7pm and 9pm ($20).
WIT’s Interplay Road Show features Martínez, Nox!, and Hellcat (with artists from Super Art Fight) at DCAC at 7:30pm ($15).
Wil Sylvince headlines this weekend at DC Improv, with shows tonight and Saturday at 7:30pm and 9:45pm ($17–$20).
Friday Night Comedy at Dojo has VI Lenin, Couch Money, and Stacey’s Duo Project on at 8pm and Maple Sunday and Jos. A. Banksy at 9:30pm ($10).
Baltimore’s Bad Karaoke Experience headlines tonight’s Improv Comedy Night at The Highwood Theatre. The Female Accent and Billy Kowalski’s Brother will also perform at 8pm ($11).
Improv Pop-Up presents Latino Night, which will feature improv from Latinx States of America and Sábado Picante at 8:30pm at Colony Club. Last month’s show sold out, so I’d grab those tickets soon ($10).
Attack of the Comics happens every Friday night at Drafthouse DC at 10:45pm and features both old and new comics.
Saturday, May 19
This month’s Character Show is back tonight at 6pm at Dojo with some wacky characters from some of your fave comedic performers ($10).
WIT’s Interplay Road Show features Hellcat (with artists from Super Art Fight) and In Lieu of Flowers at DCAC at 7:30pm ($15).
Saturday Night Improv at Dojo kicks off with Power Lunch at 8pm ($10).
Bad Medicine is putting on a sketch show at Unified Scene at 8pm ($12).
Three Guys On hosts their weekly Comedy Showcase at Drafthouse DC at 10:45pm.

This town has everything this weekend! Sketch, stand-up, even science! Evidence-based fact: if you don’t see a comedy show sometime this week, you’ll be missing out so hard.
