Some highlights from District Comedians this week: Old Fashioned Boat enters the DC sketch scene with their debut show at Drafthouse, Broken Mic Comedy has an all-ladies lineup for this week’s comedy showcase, and the Dylan Meyer Comedy Showcase donates proceeds to the Dylan Meyer Creativity Fund in honor of the late DC comedian.
Sunday, June 24
This month’s Improv Brunch features Please and Thank You, Wun and Dun, Dad Joke, Cerise, Vital Lamps, and Something Else at The Pinch at 12pm.
Benefit show Howling for Holly’s Hands raises money to provide veterinary care to cats and dogs in Haiti at The Lyceum at 5:45pm. The show features longform improv from many groups, including local musical improv act Door #3, and magic ($30–$100).
Drafthouse‘s new sketch group, An Old Fashioned Boat, puts up their first show tonight at 7pm ($5).
Tonight’s WIT Summer Escape show features Please and Thank You, Company Blood Drive, Blood Pact, and Fade to Black at Source at 7:30pm ($15).
Underground Comedy hosts their weekly showcase at Wonderland Ballroom at 8pm.
Catch stand-up showcase They Funny at Drafthouse at 8:30pm ($20).
Monday, June 25
Trustfall‘s monthly show Trustfall and Friends features improv from your host troupe, Mind Map, and Impact Driver and stand-up from Mark Powell at The Pinch at 7:30pm.
This week’s Broken Mic Comedy show at Shenanigan’s features an all-female lineup with Give It Up For the Ladies at 8pm.

Tuesday, June 26
See local comics at The Pinch Hitters at 7:30pm as part of the Here Comes the Funny showcase.
This week’s Harold Night features WIT ensembles Captain PhD and Tiovivo at 8pm and Out Sick and Wonder Whale at 9pm at Source.
Phil & a Mic showcases local stand-ups every Tuesday at Bier Baron Tavern at 8:30pm.
Wednesday, June 27
Underground Comedy’s weekly showcase at Rí Rá Irish Pub happens every Wednesday at 8pm.
U Don’t Kno Jack happens every Wednesday at Town Tavern at 8pm.
Brittany Carney headlines this month’s Free Wifi Comedy Show, which features a handful of DMV comedians, at The Colony Club at 8:30pm ($5)
Thursday, June 28
Happy Hour Comedy happens every Thursday at Cafe Saint-Ex at 6pm.
If you’re into PowerPoint humor, go see Speechless at Drafthouse at 7:15pm ($5).
Catch 37 Puppies, Camp Stovëtron, Clouds Floating Around, and Commonwealth at the WIT Summer Escape show at Source at 7:30pm ($15).
Support local stand-ups in honor of Dylan Meyer at the Dylan Meyer Showcase at DC Improv at 7:30pm. All proceeds will be donated to the Dylan Meyer Creativity Fund ($8).
Adams Morgan comedy night is every Thursday at 8pm at Town Tavern.

Door #3, IRL, and White Privilege, Black Power are playing tonight at the WIT Summer Escape show at Source at 7:30pm, followed by Free Snacks, Aboulia!, VI Lenin, and Digital Natives at 9:30pm ($15).
Tammy Pescatelli headlines at DC Improv this weekend with shows tonight at 7:30pm and 9:45pm and Saturday at 7pm and 9pm ($17–$19).
The Chinese Disco comedy showcase is on every Friday at 8pm.
