2021 Festival
The 2021 District Queer Comedy Festival will take place on Friday, October 15–Sunday, October 17!
We are currently planning an all-virtual festival. However, we will consider creating in-person events as we know more about the state of live performances in Washington, DC, in the fall.

The Workshops

Improv for All! from Washington Improv Theater (WIT)
Improv for All! is a free in-person workshop that will take place at Source Theater on Saturday, Oct. 16, at 4:00pm ET.
WIT’s free introductory Improv For All workshops are high-fun, low-stress classes designed to show you how improvisers create spontaneous, off-the-cuff theater. You can register for the workshop here.
Acting for Improvisers – Emotional Recall from Rhiannon Jenkins
Acting for Improvisers is a virtual workshop that will take place on Sunday, Oct. 17, at 11am ET.
This workshop from festival performer Rhiannon Jenkins will explore sense memory and emotional recall as a way to fully immerse yourself in scenes. You can register for the workshop here.
