Serena Bethala
Serena got into comedy when she found out that there were people in the world who, like her, deliver unsolicited monologues, but, unlike her, get paid to do so. They are called "late night talk show hosts." Upon discovering this, she immediately signed up for the WIT curriculum and now teaches Improv For All workshops regularly. She is currently training to be a teacher at WIT. Serena performs several times a month with her own indie team, Laundry Day, all over the DMV. She is very big on character work, emotion, and philosophies and loves performing and teaching formats that display those technicalities well. Eventually, she'll make it onto a small stage with a large wooden desk and a band, but don't worry—teaching and coaching improv is her other dream gig.
